Deepika Padukone films to look forward to

Deepika Padukone had a great start to the year with ‘Piku’. What does she have in store for us now?

Mumbai: Deepika Padukone emerged as the Queen of Box Office when 4 of her films –‘Race 2’, ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, ‘Chennai Express’ and ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela- Ram Leela’ kept the cash registers at the Box Office ringing.

In the subsequent year, she worked with megastar Rajinikanth for the first time in ‘Kochadaiyaan’; shared screen space with veteran actors like Dimple Kapadia, Pankaj Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah in ‘Finding Fanny’; set the silverscreen ablaze with her chemistry opposite Shah Rukh Khan in ‘Happy New Year’.

And now, after having a great start to 2015 as ‘Piku’, the dimpled hottie is gearing up for the release of ‘Tamasha’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

In Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Tamasha’, she will be romancing her former boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor for the third time on screen. And in ‘Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Mastani’, she essays the role of Mastani, Maratha Peshwa Bajirao’s ladylove.
