Whoa! Shahid Kapoor is 'Padmavati' Deepika Padukone's hubby Raja Rawal Ratan Singh

New Delhi: Maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali (SLB) is ready to present yet another love saga on reel. He is again working with his favourite bunch of people—Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh in 'Padmavati'.

The film has been much-talked about so far, and a lot has been speculated over the casting of the movie. From Fawad Khan to Vicky Kaushal—many names have floated as to who will play Deepika's on-screen husband in the film. According to BollywoodLife.com, Shahid Kapoor has finally come onboard to play the character of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.

Sasha has reportedly been paid a hefty pay cheque as well. The report quotes a source as saying, ““Shahid will be paid around Rs 8-10 crore for Padmavati which is the highest he has got till date. Usually Sasha gets paid around Rs 6-7 crore, but for this film he is getting a higher amount and the reason behind it is that he is playing the second lead. Also, there was no other actor who was ready to play the role of Raja Raval Ratan Singh and SLB was left with no option but to pay this huge amount to Sasha”.

So, guess all the terms and conditions set by Shahid have been accepted. Recently, Shahid was clicked outside SLB's office too.

However, no official statement has been made so far.
