Yana to sizzle in ‘Dilli Chalo’ as new generation ‘Laila’

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: In the upcoming film ‘Dilli Chalo’, Yana Gupta shows her dance moves on the classic hit number by Zeenat Aman ‘Laila main Laila’ from the film ‘Qurbani’. Apparently there seems to be a trend of reinventing Zeenat’s hit dance number in the Bollywood. This is the second remix of her yet another hit number in the past one month. The other number of hers has been ‘Dum Maro Dum’ which features the hot dimpled hottie Deepika Padukone. But Zeenat is content with the reinvention of ‘Laila…’ as the film`s producer Lara Dutta has shown her the song already and she has given her yes vote to it. Says a source, "What Zeenat liked was that Lara and Yana have stuck to the original and not made her song their own." Yana, who is currently abroad, can`t stop raving about the song. "I`ve always been a fan of Zeenat Aman and the song ‘Laila Main Laila’. And I always enjoy doing item songs. But this turned out to be an out-of-body experience for me. I`m looking forward to performing it live on stage after the film releases." Teddy Maurya has done the set design for the smashing number in the film and being extremely convinced by his work Yana is completely in awe of him. She has also asked him to do the interiors of her house on the same lines of the sets he has done the remix. Yana confirms, "I really got inspired by the set. And yes I`m planning to have my home done in exactly the same style and shades. There were lots of vibrant colours and kaleidoscopic lights on the set, exactly the way I want my home to be."
