Modi song screened during 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' interval inviting criticism?

New Delhi: A video in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was apparently aired during the 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' interval.

The idea of showing the video in the interval of the film, which stars Bollywood heavyweight Salman Khan and fashionista Sonam Kapoor, has aroused criticism among the Twitterati, a Hindustan Times report suggests.

The video reportedly lasted for a good six minutes and has been directed by Central Board of Film Certification chief Pahlaj Nihalani.

The video was initially released on YouTube on November 10.

Nihalani reportedly said that the video doesn't glorify any individual but highlights Prime Minister's vision of a clean, prosperous India.  He also added that the video is part of a film that he is making.
