Bollywood's one of the most loved music composers Aadesh Shrivastava succumbed to the deadly disease of cancer on September 4 midnight. The music director-cum-singer was battling cancer, which had relapsed for the third time. He was first diagnosed with multiple myeloma (cancer of the plasma cells) in 2010 and back then he had successfully won over it. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, and had been under treatment for more than 40 days. However, recently it was reported that doctors had stopped his chemotherapy as he was not responding to it, while they were planning to put him on an alternate therapy.

The music composer has not only made some great music for the ears but also lent his own voice to many hit numbers. His music shall always be live in the hearts of his fans and followers. Let's take a look at some of the soulful number he composed:

Suno Na Suno Na

The music of this Shah Rukh Khan-Rani Mukerji starrer was one of the most successful films of 2003. One of the highlights of 'Chalte Chalte' was remarkably its soothing music.

Chali Chali

Amitabh Bachchan-Hema Malini starrer family drama was one of the biggest blockbusters that year. Its music was a great hit and is still rememered for its wonderful beats.

Shava Shava

Karan Johar's family saga was known for its super successful music besides its ensemble star cast. The music was given by Jatin Lalit, Sandesh Shandilya and Aadesh Shrivastava. Amitabh Bachchan had a long association with Aadesh, and for 'Shava Shava', music composer delivered his best.

Mai Yahan Tu Wahan

Baghban had not one but many soulful numbers. One of them happens to be 'Mai Yahan Tu Wahan; depicting the plight of Bachchan senior and Hema Malini on-screen.

Mora Piya
