Mumbai: ‘Bhaag DK Bose’ might have become the new youth anthem and creating waves across the country but the song has also faced a great deal of criticism. An irked Anubhav Sinha, director of Shah Rukh Khan’s much hyped film ‘Ra.One’ had accused Aamir Khan of taking the audiences for granted by showcasing obscenity in the upcoming Imran Khan starrer ‘Delhi Belly’. A war of words followed post Sinha’s comments between music composer, singer Ram Sampath and the filmmaker. Sampath had lashed out at Sinha by calling him a hypocrite. And now co-producer of the adult comedy film, Kiran Rao, has voiced her take on the entire hullabaloo. Explaining what the song is all about, Kiran while talking to a daily said, “I don`t think there is anything wrong with the song. It has funny lyrics; it is a fun song about a person called DK Bose. He is a loser whining about everything around him. It is just a funny take on life. How can anybody have problem with it?" "But still if someone has a problem, just don`t listen to the song." Kiran emphasized, "I think the songs in our Hindi films are a reflection of the present. Of the way we think, speak and the words we use. That`s perhaps why more and more songs nowadays have bolder lyrics. Yesteryear poetry has taken a backseat," Kiran added.
