Kapil Srivastava cuts his new album ‘Indian Guitaroo’

Delhi: Seldom guitarists have released their own composition as Kapil Srivastava, a Delhi-born guitarist, whose latest album ‘Indian Guitaroo’ has eight scintillating instrumental guitar tracks.

Kapil is also the founder of Guitarmonk, who has written 5 guitar books and holds a decade of teaching experience and chain of guitar schools in Delhi with more than 3000 registered students.

Kapil’s Guitarmonk has further produced 22 music albums and 15 music books in different domains including celebrity artist as Ustad Sultan Khan, Padam Shree Sumitra Guha etc.

As a guitarist, Kapil has a strong command in plectrum guitaring style and is also well versed with finger picking and blues style. Kapil’s guitaring has an independent tone and his musical knowledge is a blend of Western Classical, Indian Classical, Blues and Pop guitaring.

Kapil composes his own music and transcribes it as per the guitar feel in his individual personality and style. His compositions are musical expressions of human stories, feelings via instrumental feel. As also conveyed by his works with Sa Re Ga Ma HMV, Kapil is the only guitarist in India whose instrumental tones are selected uniquely as a solo performance and not accompaniment.
