Mika kicks off musical talent hunt in Kolkata

Kolkata: Giving winner the chance to perform with singer Mika, a musical talent hunt was kicked off here today. Mika will select the final contestant of `Idea Rocks India - Season 6` and felicitate the winner at a mega concert to be held at Nicco Park on April 6.

The winner will also get an opportunity to perform with the music in front of jam packed audience. "This is one of the biggest platforms in India which provides an opportunity of this grandeur and scale, to young aspiring musical talents to showcase their talent and interact with the best from the industry," Mika said in a statement here. Singing sensation Sunidhi Chauhan and South music star Karthik will also perform along with young talent Andreah at the concert. Conceptualised in 2005, `Idea Rocks India` is now in its sixth edition and is aimed at identifying a combination of ideal voice, performance and X-factor amongst young music aspirants and give them an opportunity to present a power- packed performance along with music superstars.
