Rafi Ki Yaden programme on Dec 24

Mohammed Rafi Foundation will organise the concert on Rafi's 86th birthday.

Kozhikode: Mohammed Rafi Foundation, Kozhikode set up to propagate Rafi`s songs to the new generation, will organise `Rafi Ki Yaden`, in connection with the 86th birth anniversary of Rafi on December 24, here.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, P Moideen Koya, General Secretary, Mohammed Rafi Foundation, said renowned singer Mukesh Bhanu Shali of Mumbai will render Mohammed Rafi`s songs. Besides Shali, music director Jitin Shyam and singer Sybila Sadanandan would also render songs, he said. The main objective of the foundation was to introduce Rafi songs to the new generation and spot out new talents and development them, he said. PTI
