‘Sporty’ Sonakshi talks about item number in Joker

Dubai: Sonakshi Sinha says that her racy number in the film Joker isn’t exactly an item number.

Her song for Joker – Dance Karle English Mein – is being called her first item song, but the actress disagrees. “I wouldn’t call it a typical item number because often item numbers are performed by actresses who are not in the film … but since the song is choreographed by Farah Khan many just assume that this is an item number,” gulfnews.com quoted her as telling tabloid! “There’s a thin line between normal film song and an item song. But I am open to do item numbers if it matches my sensibilities and personality,” she said. The actress, who is in Dubai with Salman Khan to cheer his cricket team, says that she enjoys watching the short T20 matches and loves volleyball and swimming. “I am quite sporty.... now, there’s hardly any time for sports because I am busy shooting. But even then I try to include a bit of fun,” Sinha said “While I was shooting for Joker recently, we put up a volleyball court on the sets and we used to play in our down-time,” she added. ANI
