Zuarinagar: Composer duo Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani will perform at annual cultural fest of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani - K.K. Birla campus here Sunday.
"We are very excited to see Vishal and Shekhar. This is one big day for the students who have entirely managed the fest. We hope everything goes well," said Amrita Rao, second-year electrical engineering student.
Stand-up comedian Sorabh Pant and former Miss India Rochelle Mario Rao will also be present.
The four-day cultural fest "Waves", which began Thursday, has seen the participation of over 50 colleges from different parts of the country.
Stressing the need to have such festivals in the college, BITS Pilani Goa campus director Sanjeev K. Aggarwal told IANS: "Cultural festivals in colleges are not just unfolding of events. They are efforts to bring people from different cultures together, so that they learn about people from different regions and their biases are reduced."
The festival, apart from the cultural extravaganza, has also provided a platform for the students to showcase their projects.
