London: British singer Adele, who had to cancel several gigs due to a severe chest infection, has resumed her UK tour.
The Soul singer has commenced the tour with a performance at De Montfort Hall in Leicester on Tuesday, reports the Daily Express.
The ‘Chasing Pavements’ hitmaker had to axe the first four shows of her trek, which was set to commence on 4 September (11), as well as a planned performance at the Mercury Prize ceremony earlier this month (Sep11).
She had hoped to play her weekend gigs (10-11Sep11), but again had to cancel at the last minute while she battled back to health.
According to reports, her concert tickets were sold for more than 30 times their face-value for her UK tour.
