London: Singer Christina Aguilera`s "Beautiful" has been voted as the most empowering pop song of the last decade for the gay community.Aguilera`s 2003 hit song beat gay icon Lady Gaga to top the poll conducted by Stonewall charity to find most powerful message for the lesbian, gay and bisexual community.
"I`m delighted to have been voted the most inspirational pop act by Stonewall`s supporters - my gay fan base is so important to me and this continues my special relationship with them," dailystar.co.uk quoted Aguilera as saying.
Boyzone`s "Better" came in second place, while Gaga`s equality anthem "Born This Way" was third. American indie rock band The Gossip`s "Standing In The Way Of Control" and Katy Perry`s "Firework" wrapped up the top five. IANS
