Judi Dench to perform in Sondheim tribute concert

London: Dame Judi Dench is all set to perform in a concert dedicated to iconic composer Stephen Sondheim in London on Saturday.

The Bond Star, who made an appearance in Sondheim`s A Little Night Music in 1995, has agreed to sing the show`s well-loved number, Send In The Clowns, at the event. The concert will celebrate the music legend`s 80th birthday. And although Dench is thrilled to a part of the event, she’s nervous too. "(It`s) hugely exciting (but) daunting. His impact on musical theatre can never be overstated and I`m delighted to be part of his 80th birthday celebrations at the BBC Proms," a news daily quoted the veteran actress as saying. ANI
