Washington: Lady Gaga will be performing live for Japan from New York on New Year as part of a live TV link-up.
The 25-year-old singer will appear on national broadcaster Nhk’s New Year’s Eve spectacular Kohaku Uta Gassen, which was first aired 62 years ago.
It is believed that her live spot via satellite was signed off during her recent trip to Japan, Contactmusic reported.
The ‘Poker Face’ hitmaker headed to Japan just before Christmas this year for a series of promotional appearances.
She will welcome 2012 in Japan hours before she celebrates America’s New Year with a performance in Times Square, New York as part of the Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Years Eve show.
