Liam’s show raises $240,000 for Japan

London: Liam Gallagher`s star-studded show to aid the victims of Japan`s earthquake and tsunami has raised an amount of USD 240,000.

The British rocker arranged the show to help British Red Cross` aim to help the victims in Japan. He performed with his band Beady Eye for the concert at London`s Brixton Academy Sunday, reports

Primal Scream, Paul Weller, Graham Coxon, Richard Ashcroft and The Coral also performed.

"Thanks for coming tonight and helping our brothers and sisters in Japan," said Weller.
