Madonna rebuffs flowers presented by fan saying she loathes hydrangeas

New York: Madonna is said to have rebuffed flowers presented to her by a fan at the Venice Film Festival.

The 53-year-old singer was presented with a bouquet of hydrangeas just before a recent press conference for her directorial debut ‘W.E’ at the Film Festival. The ‘Crazy for You’ hitmaker was seen thanking the fan and flashing her famous smile at him but very soon turned away, rolled her eyes and informed the person sitting next to her that it was not a befitting gift. – seemingly unaware that her microphone was on. “I absolutely loathe hydrangeas,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying. “He obviously didn’t know that,” she added.
