Michael Jackson, Britney Spears top three decades video poll

Washington: Late Michael Jackson and pop princess Britney Spears have topped a new Billboard.com video poll marking the anniversary of MTV.

In the survey, fans were asked to pick their favourite promo of the 1980s, 1990s and 2000s and Spears and Jackson doubled up at the top of two of the charts, Contactmusic reported. Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ was the undisputed best video of the ‘80s, beating Madonna’s ‘Like a Prayer’, while his ‘Scream’ duet with sister Janet came in second to Spears’ ‘Baby One More Time’ at the top of the 1990s list. Spears’ ‘Toxic’ was runner-up to Lady Gaga’s ‘Bad Romance’ at the top of the 2000s countdown. ANI
