Rome: Silvio Berlusconi, Italy`s former Prime Minister, media tycoon and ex-cruise ship lounge singer, will release an album of his love songs Tuesday.
Entitled "Il Vero Amore", or "True Love", the album was recorded with friend Mariano Apicella. The duo collaborated on three other albums. It`s set for release Nov 22.
The songs were written by Berlusconi, 75, and performed by Apicella, 48.
The new release has a special dedication to Berlusconi by Apicella: "To a person that is very dear and special to me. Someone who I will never stop thanking."
Berlusconi resigned as Italian Prime Minister Nov 12 under pressure from international financial markets and his allies in parliament who defected in a recent vote.
