Los Angeles: Usher is leading the race for top spot in the British album charts this week, according to the Official Charts Company which compiles sales data.
At the midway point on Wednesday, Usher`s "Raymond v. Raymond" has sold over 20 percent more than its nearest rival "The Defamation of Strickland Banks" by Plan B. Usher`s album was also a chart-topper in the key U.S. market.
In the singles chart, Roll Deep`s "Good Times" has overtaken Usher`s "OMG", which also features rapper will.i.am, although its lead is less than two percent.
Television music show Glee`s album, "The Power Of Madonna", is a new entry at number three at the midweek stage, while other notable album arrivals include Bullet For My Valentine`s "Fever" and "Port Isaac`s Fisherman`s Friends".
The finally chart positions are announced on Sunday.
