Los Angeles: Rapper Kanye West has decided to cancel his concert on Today show after a spat with host Matt Lauer.
The artiste, who is known for his bad temper, is unhappy with Lauer for showing the 2009 MTV VMAs clip when West snatched the microphone from Taylor Swift and interrupted her acceptance speech.
"I`m not performing on the Today Show for obvious reasons. I`m so happy the world got to see just a small piece of `the set up`," West tweeted.
"Kanye West has cancelled his Today show concert," a representative for the show told the Hollywood Reporter. West became angry at Lauer when a clip of his infamous ambush of Swift was played in the background during an interview this week.
"Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you`re going to be running this thing in the middle while I`m talking?," said West, who was discussing his regret about calling George W Bush racist.
The Today show aired their tense exchange Thursday morning.
Even though West won`t be performing, he doesn`t seem too angry at Lauer.
"Much love to Matt and the whole Today Show. I accept ya`ll future apology in advance LOL!" West added.
