Every city has a number of events taking place from concerts, ramlila to dandiya dancing and singing…here is a list of few places which are a must go this season.

Delhi The capital city of Delhi which is home to people from all parts of the country has a vibrant fair through the days of navratri. The city is immersed in multicultural celebrations with a lot to indulge for everyone. There are many Dandiya concerts organized all across the city to celebrate the festive spirit. Head to ‘Dandiya Dhamaal 2011’ that is currently taking place at Mannat Farms, near Vaishali Metro Station, Ghaziabad in the NCR region. The singing and dancing commences 04:00 PM onwards everyday. This dandiya will go on till the 2nd of October. So what are you waiting for, bring it on Dilliwallon ! Vibrant city Ahmedabad is one of the best places to enjoy Navratri. To enjoy nightlong revelry in the form of ras garbas and dandiya ras, head to the sprawling IIM(A) campus which is getting ready to host approximately 1,000 people on October 1. In Chennai, you must visit Dandiya 2011 organised by Madras Dakshin at Dharmaprakash Hall, # 10, Raja Anna Malai Road. You can look forward to having a blast playing dandiya at the venue as the music is by the Raag Milan’s. So are you ready to join in the celebrations? Bangalore is all set to host Navaratri Utsav - 2011 Garba and Dnadiya Raas at Sree Kempamma Sree Muthyalamma Temple, (Vasantha Mantapam), Old Binnamangala, Indiranagar 1st Stage, 5th Cross, Opp. DominosPizza, (100 feet road) Bangalore - 560 038. The organisers have arranged for an orchestra team from Gujarat. So get ready to virtually visit the state of Gujarat by grooving on some ethnic Gujarati songs. And you might also be the one to be crowned ` The best dressed`. So don’t waste any time and grab your passes right away! Kolkata, the City of Joy must be ready to make the most of the nine day long festival. So all you guys out there looking forward to shaking a ‘garba` leg to some of the most foot tapping numbers then DISCO DANDIYA 2011event at The Park Hotel, in Park street is the apt place. Most of the premiere hotels in Kolkata will have a dandiya raas fest so you can grab your passes at the earliest.
