Carey Mulligan ruined her Oscars gown

London: Carey Mulligan once got drunk and ruined her Prada gown at the Oscars 2010 after being nominated for Best Actress.

The `Inside Llewyn Davis` star, who wore an adventurous black dress to the Academy Awards, said by the end of the night she had destroyed her dress, reported Contactmusic. "I got drunk at the end of the night and started ripping them off and giving them as presents to people, so that was fun. I`m pretty sure that was the point of it, that`s how Miuccia (Prada) meant for it to go I`m sure," she said. The 28-year-old actress is now promoting her latest film `Inside Llewyn Davis`, directed by the Coen brothers, which premiered at Cannes Film Festival last year. In the film, Mulligan plays the wife of Llewyn`s best friend, played by Justin Timberlake, and had to performing a duet with him. "I was nervous about singing, but Justin was so sweet about it, knowing that he`d be quite an intimidating person to sing with. He is the nicest guy, so funny, he`s the gag man - he jokes around, tells stories and is just really fun."
