Christina Hendricks pictured naked in film before ‘Mad Men’ fame

London: Christina Hendricks has been pictured showing off her naked body in a film that had been made before she was noticed for her curves in ‘Mad Men’.

Hendricks, 35, had acted in the short-lived US sci-fi series ‘Firefly’ from 2002, and had played the part of seductive con woman Saffron, who shares a naked kiss with Captain Malcolm Reynolds on their wedding night. The scenes from the movie show the then unknown actress topless in bed, waiting for her new husband, and when he arrives, she drops the sheet and approaches him to share a passionate kiss, the Daily Mail reported. While ‘Firefly’ was short-lived, Hendricks has since seen her role in ‘Mad Men’ make her a star, with the actress making the leap to the big screen in the upcoming ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’ with Sarah Jessica Parker. She has also signed on as a model for Vivienne Westwood, to make the most of her figure, and has just a finished a run with the New York Philharmonic production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical Company.
