London: Kate Mara has admitted that she stuck mini pictures of Kevin Spacey onto her breasts during nude scenes with the star just to try and get him to laugh.
The ‘House Of Cards’ star said on ‘Jimmy Kimmel live’ that her actions were to try and make the Hollywood star chuckle during his close-up for the steamy scene, but said Spacey remained ever the professional and kept a straight face throughout, the Daily Mail reported.
“I was trying to make him laugh. We have a scene where I may or may not disrobe. They give you these little pasties to cover your nipples, I didn’t like the shape of them. So I thought, how can I make Kevin laugh during his close-up. So, the first time around I printed out just pictures of his face, stuck them on. His close-up comes, nothing. Just no reaction at all,” she said.
Speaking on the ABC show, the 29-year-old - who looked lovely in a skater skirt blue dress, said she was undeterred and when producers for the 13-part Netflix series asked the pair to re-shoot Mara tried again, this time by sticking pictures of Barack Obama onto her body as it was election day.
Still then, there was no reaction from the actor at all.
