London: Padma Lakshmi was spotted showing off her incredible bikini body in Miami earlier this month.
The mother-of-one drew attention to her washboard stomach and toned arms in a strapless baby blue bikini, which featured tassels on the top and tie sides, as she frolicked in the surf, the Daily Mail reported.
The 42-year-old wore her raven hair loose for the beach day, and shielded her eyes from the sun behind a pair of aviator sunglasses.
The former model, who has previously stripped off for magazines including Playboy and Allure, recently spoke about how she gets back into shape after filming wraps on America``s most popular cookery show Top Chef.
“I’m lucky. I have a fast metabolism, I’m tall, and my digestive tract is ironclad and can really take a beating,” she had said.
“Having been a model for 15 years, I...know a thing or two about how to dress if I`ve put on a few pounds.
“And I usually gain between 10 and 15 pounds over six weeks each season. Then I spend 12 weeks working it off.”
And Padma, who welcomed daughter Krishna in 2010, also spoke in a recent interview about her battle to lose her pregnancy weight.
Asked how she achieved her incredible post-baby body, Padma replied: “No meat, no cheese, no wheat, no fried food, no alcohol.
“I boxed twice a week, I lifted weight twice a week. For cardio, I ran up and down stairs, up to 70 flights a day. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do,” she added.
