Chennai: Telugu actor Sumanth, known for films such as ‘Satyam’, ‘Mahanadi’ and ‘Godavari’, wants to be a baddie on the big screen and says he`s been eyeing a negative role for quite some time.
"The agenda is to play a powerful negative lead this year. A strong negative role is something I`ve always wanted to do for as long as I can remember," Sumanth tweeted.
The 37-year-old debuted with Telugu romantic-drama ‘Prema Katha’, and since then has gone on to prove his mettle in films like ‘Madhumasam’ and ‘Golconda High School’.
His two Telugu films in the offing include crime-drama ‘Twist’, in which he will share the screen space with Varun Sandesh, and a yet-to-be-titled film by director Siddhartha.
