Universal music releases songs of Prithviraj`s ‘Manjadikuru’

Mumbai: The audio rights of Prithviraj starrer ‘Manjadikuru’ have been acquired by Universal music. Written and directed by Anjali Menon, the movie follows the story of a young boy named Vicky. The music is given by renowned music director Pandit Ramesh Narayan and lyrics by Kavalam Narayana Panikkar. Music maestros Dr KJ Yesudas, K S Chitra, Kavalam Narayana Panikkar, Vijay Yesudas and Swetha Mohan have rendered their voices for the film. "We are proud to be associated with the team of Manjadikuru. Universal is committed to make this great work available across all Mobile and Internet Platforms through its global network," said P K Prasannan, GM, Universal Music Group. ‘Manjadikuru’ was released in Kerala on May 18 2012. It bagged several international awards including Best Indian Debut & Best Malayalam Film at International Film festival of Kerala and South Asian International Film Festival, New York. PTI
