London: Jennifer Lopez, who recently promoted her new boyfriend Casper Smart to the position of head choreographer for her current tour, has been warned to be cautious while trusting him.
According to Smart’s ‘best friend’ and ‘back up dancer’, Josh Ayers, the 42-year-old singer shouldn’t go that far with trusting him.
He also accused Smart of using the mother-of-two to further his own career and being a manipulator.
“He’s willing to do whatever Jennifer wants as long as it furthers his own career,” the Daily Mail quoted Ayers as telling Touch Weekly.
Ayers, who was reportedly close to the 25-year-old dancer for years, claimed that he has seen first hand, how the heartthrob manipulates women to get what he wants.
Before getting hooked up with the American Idol judge, Smart was with steady girlfriend Aisha Francis two years back.
Ayers claimed that it was Francis, who helped land Smart a dance gig on Lopez’s music video, ‘Dance Again’ - where the pair first met.
He also insisted that Smart just got lucky.
He revealed that Aisha learned of Casper’s deception when she turned on the TV one day last December and watched in shock as she learned that he had moved on with Lopez.
“Aisha was really good to Casper,” Ayers said.
Ayers also admitted having a big fall out with his former friend a few months ago.
“He used her to get what he wanted,” he said.
Smart, who has been reportedly showered with gifts by the songstress, confessed in an interview in May, that the relationship he has with Jen “just spontaneously happened.”
