London: Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal is turning 30 next month and the `Brokeback Mountain` star is yearning to start a family soon.
The actor will reach the landmark age on December 19 and said he is no longer worried to say goodbye to his 20s after having a conversation with his older sister Maggie Gyllenhaal, who is 32, Contactmusic reported. Gyllenhaal, who is rumoured to be dating country singer Taylor Swift, insisted that he is eager to become a father after spending quality time with Maggie`s daughter Ramona.
"It`s incredible to see the traits she has. She mimics things that my sister or my brother-in-law do, and it makes me laugh. I just adore her. Children are really where it`s at.
That`s what I feel turning 30, more than I ever did," said the actor.
However, Gyllenhaal has already chalked out his birthday plans and wishes to celebrate it swimming with walruses in the Arctic Circle.
"The only reason I`m doing it is I wanted to do something that absolutely terrified me - killer whales and walruses and freezing cold water? That seems absolutely terrifying," he added.
