Los Angeles: Singer Kanye West might just end up surprising his socialite girlfriend Kim Kardashian with an engagement ring on her 32nd birthday Sunday.
Popular host and ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ producer Ryan Seacrest fuelled the rumour, reports a website.
Seacrest has implied that Kardashian might be getting more than she bargained for when West whisked her off to Rome on a romantic break with the intent of celebrating her birthday.
Discussing whether there is any truth to the rumours that Kardashian is "demanding an engagement ring", on his KIIS radio show, Seacrest told his co-host Ellen K: "I think we could definitely see an update on this story on Monday."
Twice-engaged Kardashian, who is still in the process of divorcing Kris Humphries, is keen to settle down and start a family, and had also recently admitted she had finally found her match in West.
Meanwhile, the 35-year-old rapper is said to have been searching for the perfect ring to bestow on his "princess" and make their commitment official.
"It`s only a matter of time before Kanye pops the question. They are madly in love with one another and as far as Kanye is concerned he wants to spend the rest of his life with Kim.
"It`s just a case of making sure the ring is perfect because she`s his princess," a source told a website.
