Kim`s mother and manager Kris Jenner is miffed with her daughter`s plan to take on her fiancé Kris Humphries` surname after marriage.

Los Angeles: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian`s mother and manager Kris Jenner is miffed with her daughter`s plan to take on her fiancé Kris Humphries` surname after marriage.

Jenner says that she does not want her second daughter to give up the name that has become a globally recognised brand, despite the fact that she also dropped Kardashian when she remarried, reported TMZ. "I don`t think she should take his name and be Kim Humphries. I think she needs to be Kim Kardashian because she`s worked so hard to get where she is," said the 55-year-old mother of six. But the 30-year-old actress-model plans to go against her mother`s wishes after she walks down the aisle this summer. The Kardashian family have styled themselves as a brand, raking in millions with their endorsement deals and reality shows. Her younger sister Khloe now goes by Khloe Kardashian Odom since marrying husband Lamar Odom in September 2009. PTI
