London: Former model Katie Price and husband Alex Reid jetted off to a romantic holiday destination in the Indian Ocean in a bid to save their marriage.
"It is no exaggeration to say that the marriage is in crisis. They needed some time on their own without any distractions to talk and see if they have something worth saving. They love each other very much and are doing everything they can to make it work," femalefirst.co.uk quoted a friend as saying.
The couple flew out together on Christmas Day and won`t return until later this month as they are determined to make the marriage work.
"The fact that they have jetted away shows their commitment to making it work. They haven`t done it to get some glitzy deal. They have done it because they both need to do some hard talking," the pal added.
