Samantha Ronson`s mom blames ‘psychotic’ Lindsay Lohan for break-up with daughter

London: DJ Samantha Ronson`s mother Ann Dexter-Jones says troubled star Lindsay Lohan`s psychotic behaviour led to the break-up with her daughter.

Ann made her decision to intervene in their romance when she saw Lohan throwing an extraordinary, childish tantrum at the lavish VIP after-party organised to mark the opening of Dubai`s latest luxury hotel, The Atlantis, four years ago, reported Daily Mail. Ann recalled how suddenly, without any warning, Lohan flung herself on to the thick carpet and started to roll around screaming like a child, adding that the bizarre scene shocked her. It seemed she was upset that people, including Ronson, were not paying her enough attention. "To my mind, it was classic psychotic behaviour. I took Lindsay aside and told her not to make a spectacle of herself. She was clearly out of control and spoiling for a fight," Ann said. Even before the Dubai incident, Ann, the British-born former wife of guitarist Mick Jones from rock band Foreigner, was apprehensive about her daughter`s involvement with Lohan. Last year, Lohan described her affair with Ronson as being mutually `toxic,` but Ann says it was Lohan`s chaotic lifestyle that brought it to a close and that she stepped in because, as a mother, she feared it would end tragically. While Ronson is now reported to be in a healthy relationship with music producer David Foster`s daughter, the actress/writer Erin Foster, Lohan remains on a path of self-destruction. She has been arrested six times, checked into rehab five times, been jailed, completed 536 hours of community service and will soon be back inside for parole violations. PTI
