Los Angeles: Singer Jessica Simpson and her fiance Eric Johnson are so deeply in love with each other that they are unable to focus on others at social gatherings.

The couple attended a friend`s birthday Saturday and was clearly occupied with each other. "They were whispering into each other`s ears and smiling and laughing a lot. They spent the majority of the evening engaged in each other`s company," usmagazine.com quoted a source as saying. The two got engaged in 2010 and have a four-month-old daughter Maxwell.
