You will be stunned to know that the place is loaded with a large number of mutilated dolls which can be seen hanging all around, even on the trees and bushes. It is said that these dolls even move their limbs at times. Scary much?

Some people also claim that they have seen haunted things happening at this place. However, many claim that these are just baseless rumours. But, still, 'Isla de las Munecas' is considered to be an uncanny experience by most of its visitors.

All the spookiness spilled a few years back when a little girl allegedly drowned on this island under unknown circumstances. It is also believed that the man, who found the drowned girl, also discovered a doll floating in the canal. He later tied that doll to a tree.

Rumour has it! The man then started hanging more dolls to the trees in order to free the spirit of drowned girl. Years later, the man was found dead on the very same spot where he spotted the first doll. Strange, isn't it?
