Delhi: After a successful first and second day, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 saw a grand culmination with the opening fashion show on its third day. Designers Jyoti Sharma, Katikeya & Isha and Nalandda treated the ones present at the show to a grand offering of magnificence. WIFW SS 2013 has several names lined up on Day 3; shows by Gaurav & Ritika, Divyam Mehta, Manish Gupta, Anupama Dayal, Nachiket Barve, Alpana & Neeraj, Arjun, Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta and Namrata Joshipura are the ones that are to follow during the course of the day.
Jyoti Sharma, whose line is termed `Bhanuni`, launched her Spring Summer 2013 collection at the ongoing Fashion Week. Titled `nRPSUTA` (The King`s Daughter), the designer`s collection upheld the many moods and mannerisms of the eponymous Indian princess. The collection had clean cut silhouettes, standing collars and strong shoulders, and thrown into it was a generous dose of Shahi tadka of Mughal motifs. Intricate handcrafted surface ornamentation, in Jyoti Sharma`s signature style, left many-an-on-looker agape.
The `nRPSUTA` collection showcased the prominence of red, blue and beige. Intertwined with the primary colours were subtle applications of a bit of rust orange here and a spark of black there; all of which were highlighted with the colour of gold: the colour of nobility, of regalia.
Kartikeya & Isha mesmerised the viewers with their Spring Summer 2013 collection titled `Dozakh`. The collection saw flowy outfits in tones of beige, black, blue and the like. The show saw models strut about in layered gowns and dresses, and made for a drop-dead gorgeous show on the ramp.
Designer Nalandda`s Spring Summer 2013 collection presented a wonderous vision at the show. Day 3 sparked off to heady offerings of exquisite, grand clothes. And there`s sure a lot more in store. Keep coming back to this space for more on the third day of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013!
