A four-member junior rowing team will represent India in the first Youth Olympics Games to be held in Singapore from August 14-26.

New Delhi: A four-member junior rowing team will represent India in the first Youth Olympics Games to be held in Singapore from August 14-26.
The team consisting of two boys and two girls will participate in the coxless pairs category.While Yasin Khan and Gurpreet Singh, both from Maharashtra, will row in the junior boys coxless pairs division, Kerala`s Nimmy MT and Mitali Sekhar Deo of Orissa will fight it out in the girls coxless pairs event, a Rowing Federation of India statement said.The team, which will leave from Hyderabad tonight, will be accompanied by coach Ratheesh DB.
