American Lance Armstrong has pulled out of the Circuit de la Sarthe four-day race because of illness, his RadioShack team said on Wednesday.

London: American Lance Armstrong has pulled out of the Circuit de la Sarthe four-day race because of illness, his RadioShack team said on Wednesday.
"He is not starting today`s (second) stage because of gastro enteritis," RadioShack spokesman Philippe Maertens told Reuters.
Seven-times Tour de France champion Armstrong is now due to fly back to the United States.Bureau Report
