Chetan had an easy outing and he opened up a 3-0 lead in the first game. But Vittinghus clawed his way back to draw parity at 8-8 and then 12-12 before the Indian broke loose to pocket the game.
Chetan went for the kill right for the start of the second game and didn`t give his rival any chance to come back into the match.
Arvind, however, had to break sweat to get past his Danish rival.
The world number 24 Indian made a smart recovery after being 8-9 behind and reeled off four straight points to grab the lead at 12-9 before winning the first game.
The second game was a see-saw battle as both of them fought tooth and nail and after moving together from 6-6 to 20-20, it was the Indian who kept the nerves to have the last laugh.
