Complaint against Raj for violating Model Code of Conduct

Pune: A complaint against MNS chief Raj
Thackeray has been filed at Kothrud police station for
violating Model Code of Conduct during a campaign speech in
the city, police said.
According to the complaint filed under sections 171(H)
and 504 of IPC, Thackeray used unparliamentary language in a
rally on October 8 in respect of former union home minister
Shivraj Patil.
The party had also violated the poll code by putting up
its flags on the nearby buildings when the election meeting
was held to canvass for MNS candidate Kishor Shinde, police
said.
