CSKA Moscow bring Aeroflot on board as sponsor

Moscow: CSKA Moscow have signed a one-year sponsorship deal with Aeroflot, Russia`s flagship airline, the Russian Premier League club said on Friday.CSKA president Yevgeny Giner said the deal, worth USD 5 million in cash and services, could be extended into next year.

CSKA, who became the first Russian side to lift a European trophy when they won the UEFA Cup in 2005, had been without a major sponsor since their $30 million, three-year contract with VTB, Russia`s second largest bank, expired last year. Bureau Report
