CWG mascot `Shera` joins X`Mas festivities at city cathedral

New Delhi: 2010 Commonwealth Games mascot `Shera` joined the Christmas festivities by spreading the message of `Come Out and Play` at a city cathedral.

Shera visited St. Mary`s Cathedral at Haus Khas to spread the message of togetherness, joy and belonging in the true spirit of the Commonwealth Games and called upon everyone to come forward and become an integral part of the Games.Shera, dressed in his usual D 2010, mingled with everyone gathered at the cathedral. Children were delighted to get bags from Shera containing gifts and candies.He danced, sang and shook hands with everyone wishing them `Merry X`Mas`, a release from the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee said.
