Kolkata: Dipendu Biswas scored in the
second-half to help Mohammedan Sporting erase a one-goal
deficit and hold namesake Mohammedan AC 1-1 in their Calcutta
Football League Premier Division encounter here today.
Mohammedan AC began strongly and led the first session
through Saheed`s 34th minute goal.
After the changeover, the home side got its act together
and equalised in the 57th minute with Biswas finding the net.
Mohammad Shahnawaz of Mohammedan AC was named the best
player of the match.
The drawn result gave Mohammedan Sporting seven points
from three matches while Mohammedan AC tallied four points
from three outings.
