Shillong: Hamburg Media School lifted the Best International B-School trophy at the third IIM Shillong Golf Cup.
The third season of the IIM Shillong Golf Cup which was held on Saturday and Sunday saw participation from more than 150 golfers, including corporates and B-schools from India and abroad.
This global event was aimed at bringing the corporates and B-school participants together by providing them a common platform for interaction, a spokesman said.
The event spanned across two days as the B-school tournament was held yesterday followed by the open tournament with B-schools and corporates battling it out on the green today.
The tournament was played in the `Stableford` format in the 18-hole Shillong Golf Course, which is one of the oldest golf courses in the world apart from being the largest in Asia.
Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Madan B Lokur gave away the `IIM Shillong Golf Cup Trophy` that was won by Rommel Majumdar from Brihans Maharashtra College of Commerce.
Vicky Lyngdoh won the award for the `Best Golfer` in the handicap category, while Suzie Syiem won the `Best Lady Golfer` award.
