New Delhi: India will take on Kyrgyzstan in
the third match in Group D of the AFC under-16 championship
qualifier at Al Qatara stadium, Al Ain, United Arab Emirates
tomorrow.
The Indian team did one and a half hours practice session
focusing on all the three areas of the game. The contingent
was divided into three groups with goalkeepers concentrating
on shooting and saving.
The rest focused on rectifying their mistakes. The
defence and the midfielders had their session with focus on
clearing the ball and getting the shape right during the
attack.
The forwarders focused more on the headers and shooting
the ball on target. With a win against Turkmenistan in back of
their mind the confidence of the players seems to have lifted
off.
Though the final XI is still not decided a couple of
changes are expected on the cards.
Colm Toal head coach said, "After we lost the first match
we didn`t change the team because I think it wouldn`t have
been fair to change the team. Now the confidence of the
players is back and we can expect some changes for tomorrow`s
game."
With a combination of 4-3-3 expected on the cards like
the previous encounter Indian team would be looking ahead to
win this match and pocket three more points.
