Dublin: Indian golfer Jeev Milkha Singh`s poor run on the US PGA Tour continued as he missed
the cut at the Memorial Tournament after carding a second successive two-over 74 in the second round of the event here. Jeev, who had missed the cut at last week`s Crowne Plaza International as well, ended with a total of four-over 148, three strokes below the cut-line. The Chandigarh-pro started off rather well by gaining strokes on the second and fifth holes before his fortunes nosedived. It all started with a seventh-hole bogey, which left him one-under at the turn. The back-nine was a disaster as Jeev dropped bogeys on the 10th, 11th, 14th and 16th holes. A birdie sandwiched in between was hardly of any significance as the Indian fell by the wayside. At the top of the heap, American Rockie Fowler zoomed into sole lead after turning in a six-under 66 in the second round. Fowler`s total of 13-under 131 put him three strokes ahead of second-placed Justin Rose (69) of England. PTI
