New Delhi, May 04: Federation Cup champions Mohun Bagan would be looking to salvage some pride in their AFC Cup campaign when they take on Al Wehdat of Jordan at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Amman tomorrow.Mohun Bagan have so far been the whipping boys in Group D, losing all four matches they have played in the tournament so far, the last one being the worst where they were walloped 0-6 by Kuwait SC at home.
The team, which finished runners-up in the I-League, would be banking on Bhaichung Bhutia to provide some respectability to their campaign. Bhutia left India today and would be joining the team for the match. However, the green-and-maroons are being dogged by injury. They will miss the talismanic striker Jose Barreto, goalkeeper Sangram Mukherjee and right full back Habibur Rehman Mondal. However, coach Karim Bencherifa is aware there`s no point in ruing luck and would have to go ahead with what they have. Bureau Report
