Nagapattinam to host state masters athletic meet

Porayar: The Tamil Nadu Masters Athletic meet will be held at Nagapattinam from August 28 to 30, President of Tamil Nadu Masters Athletic Association (TNMAA) WI Dawaram has said.Talking to reporters yesterday, Dawaram said that athletes who have crossed 35 years would be eligible to participate in the meet, consisting of long jump, high jump, shot put, javelin throw and discus throw.

He said 12 athletes from Tamil Nadu would participate in the World Masters Athletic Meet this year. Bureau Report
