Former Real Zaragoza midfielder Nayim has agreed to return to the relegation threatened club as assistant to coach Jose Aurelio Gay, Zaragoza said on their website.

Madrid: Former Real Zaragoza midfielder Nayim has agreed to return to the relegation threatened club as assistant to coach Jose Aurelio Gay, Zaragoza said on their website.Nayim, full name Mohamed Ali Amar, played for Zaragoza in the 1990s and is remembered for scoring a dramatic winning goal against Arsenal in the 1995 European Cup Winners` Cup final. He also had spells at Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.Gay was appointed earlier this month in place of Marcelino, and suffered a 6-0 thrashing at Real Madrid in his first match in charge, a result that left Zaragoza second from bottom.
